Music And Society
Just imagine, a world without music. A world without sounds, a world without voices. Everything in the world makes a sound, or inspires us to do so. Music unites, music influences everything we do. What a boring place the world would be, if we didn’t have the music.
Music inspires all in a different way. In what way, depends on what kind of music you listen, what kind of person you are, and the way you listen to music, of course. For some people, it’s just a way to enjoy yourself. A way to spend your time. People dance, sing, make music for one purpose only – fun.
But music can be so much more than that. Sometimes people’s love for music can turn into an obsession. This is a bad way of development, seeing as it harms the poor artist.
But the thing music can do that I personally believe to be great is that it can save people’s lives. This especially goes for metal music; as far as I know. You may wonder why. I won’t say it’s because metal is such a great genre (even though it is). Metal music has the better lyrics, the darker lyrics if you want to say so, that often define those people. Lyrics that write about actual and real emotions, instead of weird and impossible love stories. (Not that metal doesn’t have these, but less often.) These lyrics, showing that even though everything may seem bad, people can live on, can save many people from suicide. It’s one of the biggest compliments you can get when someone tells you: “Your music saved my life, thank you.”
Except for these extreme occasions music basically defines people. People who listen to pop music are rather different from people listening to metal music. They dress differently and they act differently. But what can you do? If you’re true to yourself and your music taste, music can make you one of the happiest persons in the world.
Music is like a fingerprint. You can’t change it, it’ll stay with you forever, and makes you different from everyone else.

..Dying Is The Day Worth Living For..
I really liked the way you compared all. I agree in lot of things you wrote in this text
I can't imagine a world without music. It's... just... impossible. Because I'm listening it ALL THE TIME, every single day of my life.
In addition, I was born listening Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, etc... (my mother it's a GREAT fan of metal music) you can imagine that it would be impossible that I never had inclined to metal music.
And I agree with the idea "music saved lives". I mean, music helps a lot. It's a very poweful tool against the pain, I think, and it's full of art, emotions, dedication. Metal music it's fucking incredible.
I think... no metaller in this world could live without it. It's like water, like food, like oxygen: we need it.
Excellent analysis
